Oman Minerals Trading Company was established pursuant to Ministerial Decision No. (18/2025) as a subsidiary of Minerals Development Oman.
The decision grants the company the exclusive right to export gypsum and chromite ores from the Sultanate of Oman, positioning it as the nation's dedicated trading arm for both.
Its mandate is to increase the economic value of Oman's minerals, develop new export destinations, attract downstream industries and enhance local value addition.
